Affiliates & recommendations
Laundry Guy is a proud ambassador and affiliate for some of the companies and products that appear on this site. If you're new to affiliate links: when we link to a product we're an affiliate of and you click through and buy, we earn a commission.
You pay nothing extra. Any commission we earn comes at no additional cost to you.
Three things to understand about what we recommend:
Every affiliate relationship is built on real, hands-on experience with the product. We recommend gear because we use it and rate it, not because of the commission.
Only spend money on anything we recommend if you genuinely believe it'll help.
Where we say so, we bought the gear ourselves at full price, like anyone else. Where a partner has provided a product or sponsorship, we tell you.

Competitions & giveaways
From time to time we run competitions, giveaways and prize draws.
Every competition is governed by its own specific terms and conditions, published with that competition, which set out how to enter, who's eligible, the prize, the draw, and any closing dates. Those specific terms sit alongside these general terms; where they conflict, the specific competition terms win.
We run our competitions in accordance with the trade-promotion and lottery laws of the Australian states and territories they're open in, and we'll hold any permit or authority those laws require. Unless a particular competition's terms say otherwise, our promotions are open to Australian residents, and entrants must meet any age or other eligibility requirements stated in those terms. Where a competition extends to people outside of Australia we will act reasonably to comply with relevant rules.
If you enter, you agree to that competition's terms. We may need to publish or share the first name and general location of winners as those laws require.
Privacy
We take the privacy of our visitors seriously. Here's what we collect and why.
Log files & analytics
Like most sites, we log standard visit data — IP address, browser type, ISP, date and time, and the pages you came from and moved to. It's used to understand trends, run the site, and see what's popular. It isn't linked to anything that personally identifies you.
Cookies & tracking
We use Google Analytics to understand website trends and how our website is used and performs. You can disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.
Email
When you join our list (for example, to get Dirty Work), we use your email to send you the thing you asked for and our newsletter, Coming Clean. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. Leave whenever you like.
Kids
This is a site for grown men. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or under 16 where that's the local threshold). If you believe we have, contact us and we'll remove it promptly.

Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. If we don't enforce a right, that's not a waiver of it. If any provision is found invalid, the rest stay in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service.
Changes
We may modify or replace these Terms at any time at our discretion. If a change is material, we'll try to give at least 30 days' notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
